01 / PROJECT CONTEXT
A new manufacturing facility in Dakar.
OLEOSEN, part of Lesieur Cristal within Groupe Avril, developed a soap manufacturing facility for the Senegalese and regional markets. The figures above describe the company-reported scale of the facility, not the results of my individual work.
02 / MY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating installation and preparing systems.
During installation, I coordinated a team of 5 electricians, allocating tasks, tracking progress and liaising with other trades. My work included power and control circuits, instrument installation and calibration, and coordination with contractors.
Working with Ballestra and Mazzoni, I supported auxiliary systems such as pumps, steam valves and effluent handling, programmed supplementary automation equipment and collected PLC data for supervision.
03 / TESTING AND START-UP
Two months reserved for testing and adjustments.
Installation work was completed two months before the scheduled launch. The project teams used that period for start-up trials, functional checks and equipment adjustments before production began. This was a collective project achievement.
